Charming historic building in great downtown location Positive: The Adventure room at Sauerdough Lodging was compact, but very functional. The kitchen was well equipped, and the hosts were very helpful. The building is historic, so the floors were uneven and creaky. If you prefer modern accommodations, this is not the place for you. If you like historic charm, you will like this. I appreciated the location right on the main shopping street in town. It was very easy to feel right at home in Sauerdough Lodging. Negative: Because the building was historic, it was challenging to find enough outlets to charge our devices. There were enough outlets, but we had to work at it.

Positive: The property manager has excellent customer service, helpful, went extra steps to find a place for our needs. the property owner is very nice and offered us wild caught fish for our dinner. The kitchen has lots of cooking supplies and fully equipped. We highly recommend to others.

Reasonable stay but wouldn’t stay again. Positive: On the Main Street of Seward, so convenient to everything. Negative: Quite dated, the shower curtain needs replacing. No handle on the bath shower. Very steep stairs to room so difficult to carry large cases. Very squeaky floor boards.
